Approval for a fifth Plan of Operations modification clears 78 RC and 404 RAB drill sites as the company mobilizes another reverse circulation rig at its Atlanta project in Nevada.
Nevada King Gold said it received Bureau of Land Management approval for the fifth modification to its Plan of Operations at the 100%-owned Atlanta Gold Mine Project in eastern Nevada, authorizing 78 additional reverse circulation drill sites and 404 rotary air blast sites. The company has also secured a third drill rig, an additional RC rig now being mobilized to site, joining RC and RAB rigs already operating there. Nevada King said both RC rigs will operate on two 12-hour shifts as it advances its fully funded 40,000-metre Phase 4 RC drill program, with about 12,000 metres drilled so far and about C$18.1 million in cash and equivalents on hand. The newly approved sites are mainly in the Atlanta South, Silver Park and Western Rim target areas, and the modification adds 21.1 acres of new disturbance, taking the project total to 73.4 acres.
