The jet-engine maker posted stronger second-quarter earnings and revenue as commercial aerospace services demand supported growth, with results for the quarter ended June 30 topping analyst expectations.
GE Aerospace reported second-quarter results above expectations and raised its full-year outlook, with growth driven by strong demand in its commercial aerospace services business. Adjusted EPS was $2.02, while revenue came in at $13.35 billion, both ahead of analyst expectations. The company had previously been reported as generating free cash flow of $3.03 billion and profit from continuing operations of $2.41 billion, or $2.30 a share, up from $2.01 billion, or $1.87 a share, a year earlier, for the quarter ended June 30. Revenue had earlier been cited at $12.63 billion, while the latest report states $13.35 billion.
