Glide’s deposit technology will be integrated into MoonPay Deposits as MoonPay deepens its push beyond fiat-to-crypto payments into broader digital asset infrastructure.
MoonPay has acquired crypto infrastructure startup Glide, adding technology designed to simplify wallet funding across blockchains, tokens, exchanges and payment cards. Founded in 2023 by Tushar Soni and Qinyu Tong after the pair worked on Robinhood Wallet, Glide built a single deposit flow aimed at reducing one of crypto’s recurring user problems: assets sitting on the wrong chain, in the wrong token, or in the wrong account and requiring manual bridging, swapping or transfers. The platform supports more than 100 tokens across 30 blockchain networks, and its infrastructure will be integrated into MoonPay Deposits, which is already used by Wallet in Telegram, Moonshot and Paysafe. MoonPay did not disclose the financial terms of the deal. CEO Ivan Soto-Wright said the acquisition addresses a persistent failure point in crypto, where users send assets to the wrong chain and can lose funds, and said future blockchain products will need infrastructure that hides those technical complexities from end users. The transaction is MoonPay’s sixth acquisition of 2026, following deals for Sodot, Decent, DFlow, Entendre and Dawn Labs, as the company expands from fiat-to-crypto payments into a broader digital asset infrastructure stack.
