Sher Jeshiva Group moved to Ameriprise’s branch channel from Wells Fargo Clearing Services, with more than 90% of clients already committed to transition, according to the firm.
Sher Jeshiva Group, a financial advisory practice with $470 million in client assets, has joined the branch channel of Ameriprise Financial, Inc. from Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC. The team is led by financial advisors Glen Sher, CRPC™, AAMS® and Michael Jeshiva, CRPC™, and also includes financial advisor Philip Basile and registered client service associate Kathryn Acer-Richard. The practice operates in Melville, New York, and Naples, Florida. The advisers said they selected Ameriprise for its culture, technology and support model as they seek to expand the business and enhance client service. Jeshiva said more than 90% of clients have already committed to making the transition. Ameriprise said the team will be supported locally by Branch Manager Aaron Wolson, Complex Director Kevin Peters and Regional Vice President Todd Hubley. The move adds to Ameriprise’s recruiting push for experienced advisers. The company said about 1,700 advisers have joined the firm over the last five years, citing its 2025 10-K. Ameriprise, founded in 1894, says it has more than 10,000 financial advisors nationwide.
