The expanded collaboration moves Intel’s enterprise AI transition from internal workflow pilots toward production use in marketing, communications and semiconductor engineering on Google Cloud infrastructure.
Intel has expanded its Google Cloud partnership as part of a broader enterprise AI transition, deploying Gemini Enterprise across its global workforce and into semiconductor development workflows. The effort includes agentic coding assistance, automated engineering workflows and continued use of Google Cloud-based tools to streamline marketing and communications, indicating a shift from earlier pilots toward production-grade internal AI deployments. The companies said the arrangement builds on an April 2026 multiyear agreement under which Google committed to deploy Intel Xeon processors, including Xeon 6 chips, across its cloud infrastructure and to continue joint work on Infrastructure Processing Units first developed together in 2022.
