Jim Tidwell Ford in Kennesaw, Georgia now operates as Group 1 Ford of Kennesaw as part of Group 1 Automotive, Inc.'s broader effort to unify branding across its dealership network. The company said the name change took effect on October 27, 2025, while ownership, staffing, product offerings and day-to-day operations remained unchanged. Group 1 said it has owned and operated the dealership for nearly two decades, and that the rebrand is intended to connect the local Ford store more clearly to its national platform without altering its existing team, customer relationships or community presence in metro Atlanta. Skye Bardill, General Manager of Group 1 Ford of Kennesaw, said customers will continue working with the same local team under the new branding. The dealership remains at 2205 Barrett Lakes Boulevard in Kennesaw and serves Kennesaw, Marietta, Acworth and surrounding metro Atlanta communities with new Ford vehicles, pre-owned inventory, and Ford service, parts and maintenance. Group 1 said it operates 251 dealerships, 312 franchises and 32 collision centers representing 37 vehicle brands in the United States and the United Kingdom.
