Spot trading opens with USDT, USDC and Turkish lira pairs, while Binance applies a Seed Tag and staggers deposits and withdrawals around the debut.
Binance said it will list Aerodrome (AERO) on July 17, 2026, with spot trading set to open at 19:00 UTC+8 and the token carrying a Seed Tag from launch. The exchange’s announced spot pairs are AERO/USDT, AERO/USDC and AERO/TRY, with deposits opening one hour after trading begins and withdrawals scheduled for 19:00 UTC+8 on July 18. The listing marks Binance’s first direct listing of a Base-native decentralized exchange token, according to WuBlockchain. Aerodrome is a decentralized finance protocol on Base that uses AERO to reward liquidity providers and support a vote-lock governance model, making it a core venue for trading and incentives within the network’s on-chain economy. The staggered timing for trading, deposits and withdrawals may sharpen early volatility because initial price discovery can depend on existing off-exchange supply before broader balances can move onto the platform. Binance’s Seed Tag also signals elevated risk controls for the asset, with the exchange using the label for tokens it considers newer or more volatile.
