The July 17 announcement follows a June 29 MoU in the UAE and adds real-time bank-account and digital-wallet payouts for transfers sent to Nepal through EFICYENT’s global network.
EFICYENT said it has partnered with IME Limited to expand international money transfers into Nepal, adding direct bank transfers and digital-wallet payouts for recipients in the country. The arrangement, formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed on June 29, 2026, at EFICYENT’s office in the United Arab Emirates, is designed to let customers and partners across EFICYENT’s global network send funds to Nepal with real-time crediting to bank accounts and wallets. The company said the move broadens its reach into one of South Asia’s key remittance markets, where faster payout options can be important for households that rely on overseas income. EFICYENT CTO Aravinth Ramesh said the partnership supports its push to build fast, reliable payout rails for remittance-dependent communities, while IME Limited Managing Director Badri Katwal said it strengthens IME’s payout infrastructure so customers can receive funds instantly, securely and conveniently through their preferred bank account or digital wallet.
