The deal followed Monetary Authority of Singapore approval secured on July 16, giving the Japanese financial group control of the parent company behind Singapore crypto platform Coinhako.
SBI Holdings has acquired a majority stake in Holdbuild, the parent company of Singapore crypto platform Coinhako. The transaction came after approval from MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore, the city-state’s central bank and financial regulator) was secured on July 16. The move gives SBI control of the company behind Coinhako and underscores continued interest from established financial groups in regulated digital-asset platforms in Singapore.
