Users with more than 200 USDT in eligible Ondo spot stocks will be moved automatically, with Bitget covering fees and offering a limited-time 50% trading fee discount on rToken spot stocks.
Bitget said it will automatically convert eligible Ondo spot stocks in users’ spot accounts into corresponding rToken spot stocks during the overnight U.S. stock market session on July 21, 2026, until the regular session begins. The move applies only to users whose eligible Ondo spot stock holdings exceed 200 USDT at the asset snapshot, while holdings of less than 100 USDT in any individual eligible Ondo spot stock are not eligible. The exchange said no user action is required unless a customer wants to opt out before 11:59 PM (UTC+8) on July 20. The conversion will be based on the number of underlying stock shares represented by each token rather than a simple 1:1 token swap, meaning token counts may change while underlying stock exposure remains unchanged. Bitget said it will bear all transaction fees and spread costs tied to the process. After conversion, users trading rToken spot stocks will receive a limited-time 50% transaction fee discount, with maker and taker fees as low as 0.05%. Bitget described Reality rTokens as spot stock products backed by real U.S. stocks held in custody, with liquidity linked to Nasdaq and NYSE, support for corporate actions such as cash dividends and stock splits, and broader use across margin products and yield products. Newly distributed rTokens may be temporarily frozen before being unlocked, with the estimated unlock time by July 21, 2026, 10:30 PM (UTC+8), though the schedule may be adjusted by market trading, system processing, or settlement conditions.
