RWA.xyz data shows BNB Chain has become the second-largest blockchain for real-world asset tokenization, behind Ethereum’s $15.5 billion, after rising from $3 billion in March 2026.
BNB Chain’s tokenized real-world asset value reached a record $5.2 billion, according to RWA.xyz, after a 32.26% increase over the past 30 days. That places the network second among blockchains for RWA tokenization, behind Ethereum at $15.5 billion. The latest figure also marks a sharp acceleration from $3 billion in March 2026 and $4 billion in May, with BNB Chain now hosting 665 tokenized assets and accounting for 14.91% of the cross-chain RWA market. Growth has been supported by platforms including Avalon Finance, OpenEden, Brickken, Bitbond, Securitize partnered with VanEck, and Ondo Finance, spanning tokenized treasuries, credit, real estate, commodities, and equities. Ondo Finance’s late-2025 launch of tokenized equities on BNB Chain expanded on-chain access to traditional stock market exposure and increased DeFi (blockchain-based financial applications) composability by letting those assets interact with lending protocols, yield strategies, and other on-chain tools. The network has also expanded stablecoin infrastructure to support settlement and liquidity for tokenized assets. Even so, tokenized RWAs still rely on off-chain custodians, legal frameworks, and traditional financial rails, meaning regulatory changes in major jurisdictions could affect how they operate across blockchains. The report also notes that rapid total value locked growth can sometimes be concentrated among a small number of large depositors, though BNB Chain’s gains appear spread across several asset categories and participants.
