The company’s radiopharmaceutical program in SSTR2-positive neuroendocrine tumors will be featured in a rapid oral presentation in Madrid on October 23, with more abstract details due October 19.
Perspective Therapeutics said updated data from its [212Pb]VMT-α-NET program have been accepted for presentation at the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026 in Madrid, scheduled for October 23 to 27, 2026. The abstract, to be presented by Thorvardur Halfdanarson of Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center, is titled “Cohort level safety and efficacy results for [212Pb]VMT-α-NET in advanced somatostatin receptor subtype 2 (SSTR2+)-expressing neuroendocrine tumors (NETs): Cohorts 1–3” and has been assigned Abstract Number 2396RO. It is scheduled as a rapid oral presentation on October 23, 2026, with the presentation set for 4:25 to 4:30 p.m. CEST, or 10:25 to 10:30 a.m. EDT. ESMO plans to release further details for regular abstracts on October 19, 2026. Perspective said [212Pb]VMT-α-NET is designed to target SSTR2 and deliver lead-212, an alpha-emitting radioisotope, to tumor sites expressing that receptor. The company is running a multi-center, open-label, dose-escalation and dose-expansion study, identified as NCT05636618, in patients with unresectable or metastatic SSTR2-positive tumors who have not received prior radiopharmaceutical therapies (RPT). Interim data from the trial, using an April 17, 2026 cut-off, were presented at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting in May and included efficacy results for half of Cohort 2 and both patients in Cohort 1. Initial efficacy data for the remaining patients in Cohort 2 and for patients in Cohorts 3 and 4 are still pending, and the company said it plans additional submissions to medical conferences in 2026 and 2027.
