The new browser playground lets developers test basic wallet functions without local configuration, underscoring Tether’s push to make wallet infrastructure and developer tools easier to use.
Tether has introduced a browser-based playground for its Wallet Development Kit, allowing developers to test basic wallet functionality through a web browser without setting up local environments or special devices. Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, said the feature is designed to remove setup friction for builders and simplify early-stage wallet development. The launch adds to Tether’s broader effort to expand developer tooling around self-custodial wallet infrastructure and digital asset integrations, with the browser testing environment aimed at faster prototyping, earlier issue detection, and a lower barrier for teams exploring wallet features before production deployment.
