On-chain trackers reported another large BTC transfer from a long-held position, with the whale gradually redistributing coins to new wallets and, in some cases, to exchanges.
A Bitcoin whale transferred 583.23 BTC, worth about $37.57 million, to a new wallet, according to PANews citing Onchain Lens. The address had accumulated 852.469 BTC about eight years earlier for roughly $15.63 million and has since been gradually splitting the holdings across new wallets, with some transfers also sent to exchanges. Separate on-chain reports also described another dormant whale moving 700 BTC after five years, including transfers of 2.319 BTC and 697.68 BTC to two specified wallet addresses; such large-wallet activity is closely watched because exchange deposits or redistribution can precede selling, although address changes alone do not confirm that intent.
