Eve Air Mobility and Moov have signed a Letter of Intent for up to 30 electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft as they assess advanced air mobility opportunities in Cabo Verde and Europe. The companies said they will study how eVTOLs can support sightseeing, shuttle links between airports, ports and resorts, and regional connections across São Vicente, Santo Antão, Sal, Praia and Boa Vista, while also examining medical transport and infrastructure inspection uses. The push comes as Cabo Verde's tourism market expands: the World Bank said tourist arrivals in 2024 reached an estimated 1.18 million, up 16.5% from a year earlier. Eve said the partnership fits its strategy of developing practical advanced air mobility use cases, while Moov said the aircraft could support its broader Atlantic Gateway network linking Europe, Africa and Latin America.
