Summary

Bitget said it will shorten the funding rate interval for the DEXEUSDT perpetual futures contract to every 1 hour from every 4 hours, effective July 21, 2026 at 10:00 UTC, as it seeks to keep perpetual futures prices more closely aligned with the spot index. The exchange also said the maximum and minimum funding rate limits will be widened from +1.8000% and -1.8000% to +2.0000% and -2.0000%. Under the updated schedule, the +2.0000%/-2.0000% limits will apply at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 and 13:00 UTC on July 21, 2026, with the pattern continuing thereafter. Bitget said it may issue a separate announcement if the adjustment is rescheduled because of factors such as high market volatility, and urged users to review the updated funding rates before placing orders and to remain mindful of trading risks.
