Griffin Global Asset Management said it has delivered the first of six Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft under a long-term lease to VietJet Group, marking the airline as a new customer for the Dublin-based commercial aircraft lessor. Griffin said the new-technology jets are intended to support VietJet’s fleet modernization and expansion across its operating markets, while VietJet said the aircraft will help it maintain a modern, fuel-efficient fleet and broaden regional and international connectivity as part of its sustainable low-cost growth strategy.
