Creditors in classes 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B and 7 had to complete verification and onboarding by June 16 to qualify, while claimants in 45 jurisdictions face provider limits and a six-month deadline.
FTX said it will start its fifth creditor payout round on July 31, with about $900 million to be distributed through BitGo, Kraken and Payoneer to eligible claimants in classes 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B and 7. Creditors had to complete claim confirmation, KYC, tax forms, sanctions screening and provider onboarding by June 16, and eligible payments are expected within one to three business days. FTX said claimants in 45 jurisdictions, including Russia, Ukraine, Cuba and Iran, are excluded from this round because distribution providers are unavailable there, and those who do not complete provider onboarding within six months from July 31 may forfeit distribution rights. The estate has previously returned a cumulative $10 billion to creditors under its court-authorized restructuring plan, with published aggregate recovery rates of 105% for classes 5A and 5B, 103% for classes 6A and 6B, and 120% for Class 7, based on court-approved claim amounts rather than current market value.
