British Airways selected Pratt & Whitney GTF engines for 33 firm Airbus A320neo aircraft, with options for 30 more jets, and signed a 12-year EngineWise Comprehensive maintenance agreement, with deliveries expected to begin in 2027. Separately, Pratt & Whitney said its GTF engines were also chosen for 15 additional Tigerair Taiwan A320neo family aircraft, extending that carrier’s use of the engine platform.
