The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-level Meeting on Global AI Governance has closed in Shanghai, with organizers expecting about 20.36 billion yuan in intended procurement, a roughly 25% increase from a year earlier. The event spanned 100,000 square meters, featured 4,486 exhibits and included 351 global product debuts, underscoring the scale of activity around artificial intelligence commercialization and cross-border dealmaking. It also hosted 177 major international procurement delegations, highlighting demand from buyers as companies and institutions look for deployable AI products and partnerships.
