OKX said its World Cup prediction event doubled as a live stress test for Exchange OS, with more than 400,000 users generating a cumulative 173 million trades and a peak of 3,716 trades in one minute without system downtime. The company framed the bigger objective as turning core exchange functions including accounts, matching, risk controls and settlement into standardized components, allowing small teams and institutions to build spot, derivatives or prediction markets more quickly on the same infrastructure.
