The AI security startup says it will use the funding to expand product development and market reach, while highlighting its crypto-sector customer base and broader push into enterprise AI and digital-asset security.
Neo, an AI security startup founded by former SentinelOne executives, said it raised $100 million in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Bessemer Venture Partners, with Craft Ventures and Merlin Ventures also participating. The company said it will use the capital to accelerate product development and market expansion as enterprises seek stronger governance over AI agents, applications and traditional software environments. Neo also said it serves more than 150 crypto companies, has helped safeguard over $75 billion in assets, and plans to launch a proprietary security token in Q1 2024.
