After a security review, United Stables adopted Chainlink as official data and cross-chain infrastructure for U, with live Data Feeds and Proof of Reserve and planned CCIP support for multichain transfers.
United Stables has adopted Chainlink as the official oracle and cross-chain infrastructure for its U stablecoin after the asset surpassed $1 billion in circulating supply and more than $2.5 billion in daily trading volume. Chainlink Data Feeds and Proof of Reserve are now live, while the company plans to integrate Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, or CCIP, to support secure transfers of U between blockchain networks. United Stables said the decision followed a security review that focused on weaknesses exposed in legacy oracle and bridge infrastructure, including fragmented liquidity, unverified pricing and cross-chain transfer vulnerabilities. The company launched U on BNB Chain and Ethereum in December 2025 and said the stablecoin was designed for trading, payments, decentralized finance, institutional settlement and AI-driven applications. The integration gives U decentralized pricing data used across more than 20 lending protocols and on-chain reserve verification intended to let users confirm collateral backing through cryptographic checks. United Stables said U was launched as a fully backed stablecoin supported one-to-one by cash and audited stablecoins including USDC, USDT and USD1, with reserves held in segregated accounts, verified through on-chain Proof of Reserve and subject to quarterly independent audits. The planned CCIP rollout is part of a broader multichain roadmap as United Stables expands across BNB Chain, Ethereum, TRON and other supported networks. The announcement also adds to Chainlink’s growing role in both decentralized finance and institutional market infrastructure, following recent work tied to Aave, Project Pangea and BitMEX.
