
Automaker beat second-quarter revenue and adjusted EPS expectations, lifted 2026 EBIT-adjusted and free-cash-flow guidance, and highlighted plans to invest billions in expanding U.S. production of larger, higher-margin vehicles.
General Motors reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $48.03 billion and adjusted EPS of $3.57, both above analyst expectations, and raised full-year 2026 EBIT-adjusted guidance to $14.0 billion-$16.0 billion and adjusted automotive free cash flow guidance to $9.5 billion-$11.5 billion. The company lowered its net income attributable to stockholders outlook again, to $8.4 billion-$9.8 billion, and said the quarter included about $2.3 billion in EV strategic realignment charges. Executives also highlighted plans to invest billions to expand U.S. production of larger vehicles, alongside launches of new pickups, gas-powered Cadillac models and military trucks.
