Binance said it will pause Zcash transfers on July 28 for a planned network upgrade and hard fork at block height 3,428,143; a separate notice said Polygon network transfers will be halted on July 29 for its own upgrade.
Binance said it expects to suspend deposits and withdrawals for Zcash (ZEC) at 20:00 (UTC+8) on July 28, 2026 to support the network’s planned upgrade and hard fork, which the Zcash project expects at block height 3,428,143 around 21:00 (UTC+8) the same day. In a separate announcement, Binance also said it expects to suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the Polygon (POL) network at 21:00 Beijing time on July 29, 2026 ahead of Polygon’s planned upgrade and hard fork at block height 50,185,000, estimated for 22:00 Beijing time. Such transfer suspensions are standard during blockchain upgrades to reduce transaction and compatibility risks.
