Binance said its broader strategy will connect investing, payments, remittances and wealth management, while adding on-chain products such as pre-IPO perpetuals, stock tokens and prediction markets alongside its compliance buildout.
Binance said it is accelerating its shift from a cryptocurrency trading venue toward what it calls next-generation digital financial infrastructure, expanding across digital assets, stocks, payments and real-world assets. As part of that strategy, the company said it has launched API trading for Binance Stocks, giving retail and institutional users programmatic access to U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs through a secure REST API for automated strategies, position management, data access and system integration. Binance also disclosed early performance data for its U.S. equities offering, saying its June 1, 2026 launch of direct U.S. stock trading reached $400 million in first-week assets under management and surpassed $1 billion by early July 2026, with total trading volume above $3 billion and average daily inflows of $42 million. The exchange said emerging markets generated 84.5% of first-week trading volume, 73% of users came from those markets, and one in four users was under 25. It said eligible non-U.S. users can trade more than 7,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs using stablecoins and BNB, while fractional orders with a $5 minimum accounted for 35% of volume. The company said its wider super app strategy includes on-chain financial products such as pre-IPO perpetuals, on-chain stock tokens and prediction markets, alongside payments, remittances and wealth management. Binance said Binance Pay supports more than 20 million merchants worldwide and has processed more than $280 billion in cumulative payment volume. Binance said trust and compliance remain central to the strategy. It said it holds regulatory approvals and licenses in 20 public- and private-sector jurisdictions, has 29 global security and compliance certifications, and spends about $300 million a year on compliance. The company also said more than 24 AI projects and over 100 security models helped prevent about $10.53 billion in potential user losses from the first quarter of 2025 through the first quarter of 2026. Binance said the stocks platform operates through Nest Trading Limited, its Abu Dhabi Global Market-regulated entity, with custody handled by Alpaca, while acknowledging that ongoing regulatory scrutiny across multiple jurisdictions remains a risk to the service.
