Envision said it was named to the 2026 S&P Global Tier 1 Cleantech Companies List for a second straight year, with Tier 1 recognition spanning wind turbines, energy storage systems and battery cells. Envision Energy kept its Tier 1 standing as a Wind Turbine Supplier and Energy Storage System Supplier, while Envision AESC was newly recognized as a Tier 1 Battery Cell Supplier. The company said the result highlights its integrated portfolio across renewable power generation, battery energy storage and advanced battery technology. S&P Global's assessment is described as a leading benchmark for clean energy suppliers, using data across the global energy value chain to score companies on six areas: market leadership, cumulative deployments, market share, manufacturing capability, financial performance and sustainability. Envision said the addition of a Battery Cell category in 2026 reflects the sector's continued development. The company also pointed to operating scale and project activity. It said cumulative wind installations worldwide have exceeded 100 GW. In Australia, Envision said the first AI-powered wind turbine prototype at the Nullagine Wind Farm has achieved grid connection, and in North America it has partnered with Cape Breton China Corp on a 300 MW wind project with co-located battery storage in Nova Scotia. In storage, Envision said projects include Hartmoor in the UK and Elements Green and Juniz in Germany, while cumulative BESS (battery energy storage system) deployments reached 50 GWh by the end of 2025. It also said it remained a BloombergNEF Tier 1 Battery Energy Storage Manufacturer for multiple consecutive quarters. Envision AESC has expanded across Asia, Europe and North America, supplying battery cells for electric vehicles and energy storage. The company said the latest recognitions underline its push to build what it calls the Future Energy System by combining renewable energy, storage, advanced batteries and AI (artificial intelligence).
