Mintos launches ETF trading with 1,000 funds and no transaction fees

The European investment platform is adding more than 1,000 UCITS-compliant funds via Upvest, with a €1 minimum investment, automated portfolio options, and a planned recurring Investment Plans feature.

Summary

Mintos has launched ETF investing on its platform, giving users access to more than 1,000 UCITS-compliant funds from providers including iShares, VanEck and Vanguard, with zero transaction fees, no custody charges, and a minimum investment of €1. The catalogue is offered through a partnership with Upvest. The launch expands Mintos’ multi-asset offering for retail investors and includes both self-directed ETF investing and Mintos Core ETFs, a pre-built, automatically rebalanced portfolio of equity and bond or fixed-income ETFs starting at €50 with no management or custody fees. Investors can use both approaches in parallel, and Mintos said a forthcoming Investment Plans feature will allow recurring contributions on a weekly, biweekly or fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Martins Sulte, CEO and co-founder of Mintos, said European investors put a record €330 billion into ETFs in 2025 and cited Vanguard’s projection that 100 million Europeans will be invested in ETFs by 2035, up from 30 million today. Mintos said the pricing is designed to reduce barriers for smaller recurring investments, noting that a €1 execution fee on a €20 investment equals 5% of the amount invested before any market movement.
