The self-custody platform on Robinhood Chain offers 24/7 zero-fee trading in more than 95 tokenized stocks to users in over 120 countries, with perpetual futures in closed beta and plans for broader cross-asset leverage.
Arcus, the flagship decentralized exchange on Robinhood Chain, recorded about 285,000 transactions in a single week, its highest weekly total since launching on July 1, while expanding its pitch around round-the-clock tokenized stock trading and a forthcoming broader derivatives offering. The self-custody platform, built by dYdX Labs in collaboration with Robinhood Crypto, offers zero-fee spot trading on more than 95 tokenized stock pairs to users in over 120 countries. Arcus has also put perpetual futures trading into closed beta, with plans to extend the product across equities, cryptocurrencies, commodities and indices and with leverage of up to 50x. The platform says users will be able to pledge tokenized stocks as collateral for futures positions, while a native ARCUS token is planned for future distribution. Within its first two weeks, Arcus reached $33 million in trading volume and $15 million in total value locked, while using Paxos-issued USDG as its main collateral and settlement asset. Stock-token trading is not available in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and other restricted jurisdictions.
