ZenaTech said its drone subsidiary is preparing live demonstrations for U.S. defense agencies while advancing Blue UAS certification, a procurement step for access to government buying channels.
ZenaTech said its U.S.-based drone subsidiary ZenaDrone is planning technology demonstrations with U.S. government defense agencies, starting with a first confirmed agency demonstration and an initial request to showcase its IQ Nano indoor drone. The company said the effort marks a move from internal testing and validation toward market readiness for defense applications. ZenaDrone plans to demonstrate the ZenaDrone 1000 VTOL cargo and ISR platform, the IQ Nano for indoor inventory management in armories and supply depots, and the IQ Square for outdoor line-of-sight inspections. Alongside the demonstrations, the company said it is advancing through the Blue UAS certification process, with cyber testing slated this summer across three platforms, a required step for inclusion on the Defense Innovation Unit’s approved products list and eventual U.S. government procurement eligibility.
