The financing makes the startup Europe’s first humanoid-robotics unicorn, comes with a 1,000-robot order from Schaeffler, and supports plans for commercial pilots and scaled production with Bosch.
Humanoid raised $152 million in a Series A financing that valued the humanoid robotics startup at $1.35 billion on a post-money basis, making it Europe’s first unicorn focused on humanoid robots. Prime Movers Lab led the round, with Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holdings Venture Capital and Aglaé Ventures participating. The company has secured a 1,000-robot order from Schaeffler and, with Bosch’s support, plans to produce 100,000 units over the next five years. Its HMND 01 wheeled humanoid robot is due to begin commercial pilots in logistics, manufacturing and retail by year-end, while its proprietary KinetIQ AI platform is designed to coordinate robot fleets for industrial tasks.
