ONDO traded near $0.403 as broader buying in tokenized-asset plays, DTCC-linked tokenized securities expansion, U.S. regulatory optimism and Ondo’s SBI partnership kept the project in focus.
Ondo Finance’s ONDO token remained in focus around July 21 as demand for real-world asset, or RWA, plays combined with new tokenized-securities infrastructure developments. ONDO traded at about $0.403, with one source citing a 15.71% daily gain to $0.4030 and another citing a 3.06% 24-hour rise to $0.402932; the latter also reported $208.38 million in daily volume and a market capitalization of about $1.96 billion, ranking 35th. Support for the token came from broader sector buying, expectations of a more favorable U.S. regulatory backdrop following discussions by the SEC and CFTC on digital-commodity classification, and Ondo’s integration with the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s tokenization infrastructure. Ondo said CRCLon and SPYon now connect with DTC Tokenized Entitlements created through DTCC’s Tokenization Service, representing shares of Circle and the SPDR S&P 500 ETF while retaining the same rights, protections, CUSIP identifiers and market symbols as the traditional versions. DTCC began limited production activity in July and plans a broader rollout in October 2026, with more than 50 firms in the working group. Additional attention came from July reports that DTCC would begin a blockchain-based stock trade processing pilot, Robinhood’s July launch of Robinhood Chain as another distribution channel for Ondo’s tokenized assets, Ondo Perps reporting more than $1 billion in seven-day volume and over $3 billion cumulatively, and Ondo’s partnership with Japan’s SBI Group on asset tokenization and JPYC-based settlement.
