The collaboration starts with wallet risk screening for Zama-powered confidential vaults, aiming to help institutions use public blockchains without exposing sensitive financial data.
Zama said it is partnering with Elliptic to bring blockchain intelligence and compliance screening to confidential financial applications built on public blockchains. The first phase will add wallet risk screening for confidential vaults powered by Zama, with Elliptic performing KYT (know-your-transaction monitoring) on addresses before a transaction proceeds while not requiring other confidential information from end-users. Zama said the setup is designed to preserve encrypted balances, transaction amounts and other sensitive financial information while giving institutions compliance controls expected in regulated markets. Rand Hindi, CEO and Co-founder of Zama, said institutional adoption depends on trust, while Jackson Hull, CTO and COO at Elliptic, said the model shows how confidential finance can meet regulated-market standards. Zama said it chose Elliptic because its blockchain intelligence is already used across the digital asset sector. Elliptic said it supports more than 700 institutions globally and analyzes more than 90 million dollars in digital asset activity every day. Zama described the partnership as a milestone in building industry standards and infrastructure for institutional adoption of confidential finance.
