The law firm said it is investigating whether Omeros and certain officers or directors engaged in securities fraud after the company disclosed a negative CHMP opinion on narsoplimab.
Pomerantz LLP said it is investigating claims on behalf of investors in Omeros Corporation following a sharp share-price decline tied to a European regulatory setback. The inquiry is focused on whether Omeros and certain of its officers and directors engaged in securities fraud or other unlawful business practices. The move follows Omeros’s June 26, 2026 announcement that the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use, or CHMP (European Medicines Agency drug-review committee), adopted a negative opinion on the company’s marketing authorization application for narsoplimab as a treatment for hematopoietic stem cell transplant-associated thrombotic microangiopathy, or TA-TMA. Omeros said the update came after an oral explanation meeting with the CHMP in which the company presented its position alongside four international experts in hematopoietic cell transplantation. Omeros shares fell $2.05, or 19.12%, to close at $8.67 on June 26, 2026, after the disclosure. Pomerantz advised investors to contact Danielle Peyton regarding the matter.
