Bitcoin.com News said the largest wallets appear heavily concentrated among Ripple, Upbit and Chris Larsen, with only three of the top 40 addresses left unlabeled.
The top 40 XRP-rich-list addresses collectively hold about 55.84 billion XRP valued at more than $64 billion, but much of that total is tied to Ripple escrow and exchange custody rather than freely held balances. After removing 32.4 billion XRP locked in escrow, those addresses directly control about 20.84 billion XRP, equal to 30.9% of circulating supply, Bitcoin.com News reported. The concentration is pronounced: 16 of the addresses are tagged to Ripple, 11 to Upbit, four to co-founder Chris Larsen, and only three are unlabeled. The breakdown suggests a large share of XRP in top wallets is associated with company-controlled reserves, custody holdings and known insiders rather than a broad base of unidentified whale accounts.
