The agreement covers two newly delivered Global 6500 aircraft under Bombardier’s Smart Services Defense program, supporting multi-role missions including head of state transport.
The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration signed a 10-year Services Support Agreement with Bombardier on behalf of the Swedish Armed Forces after the recent acquisition of two Bombardier Global 6500 aircraft as part of a fleet modernization program. The newly delivered aircraft will carry out multi-role missions, including head of state transport, and are enrolled in Bombardier’s Smart Services Defense program. The arrangement is structured as a cost-per-flight-hour support package designed to provide predictable operating costs and long-term mission readiness through parts coverage, labor, engineering and technical support, access to mobile response teams, shipping, technical publications, Entry-into-Service assistance, and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance support. Bombardier and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration highlighted the agreement at the Farnborough International Airshow, where Brigadier General Carl-Frederik Edström and Paul Sislian took part in an announcement ceremony.
