Morocco's annual inflation rate slowed to 0.3% in June 2026 from 1.2% in May, marking a second straight month of deceleration as food prices fell 2.5% year on year and non-food inflation eased to 2.3% from 2.6%. Price growth moderated across transport, housing and utilities, restaurants and hotels, and clothing and footwear, while recreation and culture remained in deflation, communication prices continued to fall, education and furnishings were unchanged, and health costs rose slightly faster. On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.4%, following a 0.8% decline in May.
