The bank holding company said the new buyback will replace its existing program on July 27, 2026 and run through August 31, 2027.
S&T Bancorp, Inc. said its board authorized a new $100 million share repurchase program at a July 22, 2026 meeting, replacing the existing authorization effective July 27, 2026. The company said any remaining capacity under the current program has been terminated. The new authorization allows S&T to repurchase common stock from time to time through open-market purchases and privately negotiated transactions, up to an aggregate value of $100 million. The company said the timing, price and number of shares bought back will depend on market conditions, the stock's trading price, legal and contractual requirements, and S&T's financial performance. S&T said the program does not require it to repurchase any specific number of shares and may be extended, modified or discontinued at any time. The authorization is scheduled to expire on August 31, 2027. S&T Bancorp is a $9.9 billion bank holding company headquartered in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Its principal subsidiary, S&T Bank, was established in 1902 and operates in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
