The PRNewswire-announced agreement will deploy Pelico’s AI-enabled Manufacturing Orchestration Platform across Boeing Global Services workflows to cut depot cycle time, improve fleet availability and make aircraft deliveries more predictable.
Pelico said it has reached a strategic project agreement with Boeing to overhaul planning and execution for C-17A Globemaster III heavy maintenance. The company’s Manufacturing Orchestration Platform will serve as a single AI-enabled workspace, linking supply, engineering, planning and depot operations to reduce depot cycle time, improve fleet availability and make delivery performance more predictable. Boeing Global Services said the system is intended to provide a clearer view of sustainment and support risks, while replacing spreadsheet-based processes with a shared, real-time picture of shortages, bottlenecks and maintenance priorities. The agreement follows an earlier use of Pelico’s platform in Boeing Global Services’ commercial spare parts operations, where the company said it significantly reduced backlog and improved efficiency. The two companies also plan to assess whether similar digital tools can be extended to sustainment operations on additional platforms.
