Third-quarter revenue guidance topped Wall Street expectations as AI infrastructure spending and improving industrial and automotive demand supported analog chip sales.
Texas Instruments reported second-quarter revenue of $5.46 billion, up 23% from a year earlier, and net income of $1.98 billion, above the prior-year period. The chipmaker forecast third-quarter revenue of $5.65 billion to $6.15 billion, exceeding Wall Street expectations, and pointed to AI infrastructure investment as well as recovering industrial and automotive demand for analog chips.
