Nearly three months of repeated Bitcoin sales cut the company's holdings from 1,021 BTC, while website and social media changes add to signs it has moved away from its earlier accumulation strategy.
KULR Technology transferred 145.8 BTC worth about $9.45 million to Coinbase Prime, according to blockchain analytics firm EmberCN, in a move that came after nearly three months of repeated sales reduced the company's Bitcoin holdings from a peak of 1,021 BTC to 100 BTC. EmberCN said the remaining holdings are worth about $6.47 million at current market prices. The firm estimated KULR's average purchase price at $98,923 per Bitcoin and its average selling price at $74,368, implying a realized loss of about $22.62 million. EmberCN also pointed to the removal of a dedicated Bitcoin holdings page from KULR's website and the lack of further Bitcoin-related posts on its official X account as additional signs the company has stepped back from its earlier treasury strategy. Coinbase Prime is widely used by institutions for trading and custody, so transfers there are often watched for indications of liquidation activity.
