Resouro Strategic Metals said its wholly owned Brazilian subsidiary, Ison do Brasil Mineração Ltda., lodged a Mining Concession Application (Requerimento de Lavra) on July 16, 2026 for ANM Process No. 866.035/2009 at the Novo Mundo Gold Project in Mato Grosso, Brazil. The area spans about 930 hectares and is currently the subject of a trial mining operation under a Guia de Utilização (Brazilian trial mining permit), pursuant to a previously announced Binding Mining and Processing Agreement for Novo Mundo. The company said the filing is the next step in the ANM (Brazil’s mining regulator) licensing process and, if granted, would authorize long-term commercial mining. Chief Executive Officer Christopher Eager described the application as a key regulatory step toward turning Novo Mundo into a fully licensed, long-term producing asset and said it advances Resouro’s permitting strategy in the Alta Floresta Gold Province. The release also outlined the project’s exploration history, 2026 fieldwork and trial mining progress, while noting pending assay results from two diamond drill holes at the Mineiro target.
