The beta product lets users deposit USDT or USD1 into trader-run vaults, with profits or losses shared by stake, visibility settings varying by vault, and creation restricted to whitelisted managers.
Decentralized exchange Aster has launched the beta version of Aster Vault, a product that lets users deposit USDT or USD1 into a pooled account managed as a single trader’s portfolio, giving them access to actively managed strategies without placing every trade themselves. Participants share profits and losses in proportion to their stake, and users can review each vault’s lock-up period and profit-sharing ratio before depositing. Aster said vault transparency can differ by product, with public vaults disclosing positions and performance, private vaults hiding positions while showing performance, and flexible vaults allowing managers to switch between the two. Withdrawals are available after the lock-up period ends, though some positions may be reduced or liquidated to process requests, and only whitelisted managers can create vaults during the beta.
