The four-day Upbit event offers mission rewards and a 150,000 DATA top-trader prize pool as the rebranded network says registrations and fee generation are accelerating.
DATA Network has passed 100 million cumulative on-chain data registrations, the DATA Foundation said, as the rebranded project expands infrastructure for tracing, verifying and settling real-world data used in AI training. Upbit is running a four-day DATA/KRW trading event from July 24 to July 27 that includes mission-based random-box rewards and a separate top-trader competition with a total prize pool of 150,000 DATA. The foundation said daily registrations on the network are running at about 3 million to 5 million, while a recent surge in activity has pushed chain fees up more than 200 times versus recent weeks and lifted the network into DeFiLlama’s top 20 chains by fee generation. The project, formerly known as Story, recently integrated the Kled marketplace and launched Trace, a public audit layer designed to create permanent blockchain records for AI training data provenance, rights verification and contributor compensation.
