China has barred exports of dual-use items to 14 European entities in retaliation for the European Union's latest sanctions against Russia. The Commerce Ministry said Chinese companies cannot export such goods to the listed organizations, while foreign companies are also prohibited from supplying China-made dual-use items to them. Named entities include Czech vehicle manufacturer Tatra Trucks, Italian electric motor maker Lafert SpA, German manufacturer Sindlhauser Materials GmbH and French drone manufacturer Cavok UAS. Beijing said the move followed the EU's 21st sanctions package adopted on Thursday, which added 14 mainland Chinese and Hong Kong enterprises and targeted banks, cryptocurrency companies and military equipment manufacturers, among others, over Russia's war in Ukraine.
