The case covers purchasers of Badger Meter common stock from April 18, 2024 through April 16, 2026 and centers on allegations the company pulled forward orders to recognize revenue early.
Rosen Law Firm said a securities class action has been filed against Badger Meter, Inc. on behalf of investors who purchased common stock between April 18, 2024 and April 16, 2026, inclusive, and reminded investors that August 3, 2026 is the deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff. The lawsuit alleges Badger Meter made materially false and misleading statements about the drivers of its record financial results, demand for its products and its prospects for continued growth. The complaint says the company attributed performance to favorable industry trends, secular growth drivers, solid operating execution, strong demand, robust order pacing and a strong bid pipeline, while in reality its results were at least partly driven by pulling forward customer orders to recognize revenue early, masking weakening demand and deteriorating near-term order trends. Rosen said investors may be entitled to compensation through a contingency fee arrangement and noted that serving as lead plaintiff is not required to share in any potential recovery.
