The Kansas wealth manager reported 16,745 shares of Franklin Templeton’s XRP fund as institutional disclosures around XRP exposure continue to broaden.
Leisure Capital Management disclosed a position in Franklin Templeton’s XRP ETF in its latest U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing, adding to a run of institutional disclosures tied to XRP exposure. The Overland Park, Kansas-based wealth manager held 16,745 shares of the Franklin XRP Trust ETF (XRPZ), valued at about $206,000 as of June 30. While the position is relatively small, it adds to evidence that XRP is gaining wider acceptance among professional investors. The firm manages portfolios for individuals and institutions and typically holds traditional equities, bonds and ETFs. Its XRP ETF stake appeared alongside positions in large U.S. companies including Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia and Amazon. Other recent filings point to broader institutional activity. Earlier in July, Realta Investment Advisors reported a position in the REX-Osprey XRP ETF with more than $260 million in reported holdings. Vista Finance disclosed 129,958 shares of the Franklin XRP Trust ETF worth about $11.45 million, while Brookstone Capital Management revealed a $71 million XRP ETF position. CPR Investments also reported a $363,000 position in the ProShares Ultra XRP ETF. Institutional interest has also moved beyond exchange-traded products. Galaxy Digital, Arrington Capital, The Private Shares Fund and GAM Alternatives Lux recently agreed to buy about $130 million of Ripple Labs private shares from Linqto during the company’s bankruptcy proceedings. The growing number of 13F filings (quarterly U.S. portfolio disclosures) suggests asset managers are becoming more comfortable with XRP, while ETF structures give institutions exposure through familiar investment vehicles.
