A second plaintiffs’ firm, Hagens Berman, is now urging GRAL investors to seek lead-plaintiff status in the NHS-Galleri securities case before the August 4 deadline.
Another plaintiffs’ law firm has joined the push for investors to act before the August 4, 2026 lead-plaintiff deadline in the securities class action over GRAIL, Inc.’s disclosures tied to its NHS-Galleri cancer screening trial. Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP said investors who purchased or acquired GRAIL common stock between May 13, 2025 and February 19, 2026 may seek appointment as lead plaintiff, echoing claims that the company and certain executives misled the market about the trial’s design, progress and likelihood of achieving its primary endpoint. The case centers on allegations that GRAIL presented the three-year follow-up period as sufficient to demonstrate a statistically significant reduction in late-stage, Stage III and IV, cancers, while selectively highlighting favorable early screening data and withholding details that suggested more time would be needed. GRAIL said on February 19, 2026 that the NHS-Galleri trial did not meet its primary endpoint. Hagens Berman said the company also admitted it “probably should have allowed for a longer follow-up period.” GRAL shares fell 50.55% in the following session, dropping from a February 19 close of $101.53 to $50.21 on February 20, 2026, wiping out more than $2.2 billion in market value, according to the Hagens Berman release. Hagens Berman said it is also investigating when GRAIL and its management first recognized that the required follow-up period diverged from the three-year duration they had promoted.
