Oportun makes CNBC’s 2026 top fintech list for third straight year

The Nasdaq-listed financial services company was recognized in the Wealth Technology category after CNBC and Statista reviewed more than 2,000 fintech firms worldwide.

The annual ranking, compiled by CNBC and Statista, evaluated more than 2,000 eligible fintech companies worldwide using public sources including annual reports, media monitoring and company websites. Oportun also said that since inception it has provided more than $22.3 billion in responsible and affordable credit, saved members more than $2.5 billion in interest and fees, and helped members save an average of more than $1,800 annually.
