The v4 feature adds protocol-level allowlist checks for regulated assets, with Superstate, Securitize and Dowgo helping build infrastructure for tokenized funds, equities and securities.
Uniswap has rolled out Permissioned Pools on v4, a feature designed to let regulated real-world assets trade onchain while enforcing access controls. The pools use issuer-managed allowlist checks at the protocol level before swaps or liquidity actions can proceed, supporting tokenized funds, securities, equities and other restricted assets through AMMs. Superstate, Securitize and Dowgo were named as launch partners. Regular Uniswap v4 pools remain permissionless, giving issuers a separate route for assets that require identity checks, transfer rules or investor eligibility controls.
